HL7-defined table of codes which specify one or more available priorities for performing the observation or test.
Values

A | As soon as possible (a priority lower than stat) |
B | Do at bedside or portable (may be used with other codes) |
C | Measure continuously (e.g. arterial line blood pressure) |
P | Preoperative (to be done prior to surgery) |
R | Routine |
S | Stat (do immediately) |
T | Timing critical (do as near as possible to requested time) |
