Anonymize HL7 messages in one keypress
Press Ctrl+F2 to replace patient details with made-up values, use F2 for a single field, or anonymize every message in a file.

Try it yourself
- Open a message in HL7 Soup and press Ctrl+F2. Patient names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, and other identifying fields are replaced with realistic, made-up values.
- Press Ctrl+F2 again to generate another patient. The changed values are highlighted. The first run takes a moment to load names and addresses.
- To replace a single field, click it and press F2. Free text becomes lorem ipsum, dates keep their format, numbers keep their length, and coded fields receive another valid code. Other values become x's.
- To anonymize a whole file, right-click the message list and choose Anonymize All Messages.
